About Ovenlit

Ovenlit Kitchen is a small independent recipe site built around one idea: most great home cooking comes down to heat. Knowing when to crank the oven, when to let something rest and when a pan is hot enough makes all the difference.

We publish recipes we've cooked repeatedly in ordinary home kitchens with standard equipment. If a recipe needs a special tool, we say so up front.

Priya Natarajan. Former line cook who now writes recipes for home kitchens.

Caleb Moreno. Grill and air-fryer devotee; tests every recipe at least twice.

Recipes are written and tested by our team. We don't accept payment for coverage. When we update a recipe, we note the change.
